🎧 Atlas of Understanding — The Debut Album by Jonathan Kendall (onojk123)

A vibrant journey through color, motion, and electronic imagination.

About 6 months ago marks a milestone in my artistic journey: the official release of my debut full-length album, Atlas of Understanding — now available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon, Tidal, TikTok, Instagram, Deezer, Pandora, and more than twenty other platforms worldwide.

This album represents years of exploration at the crossroads of digital art, motion design, and uplifting electronic sound. It’s both a sonic journey and a visual one — built from the same creative energy that fuels my DeviantArt work under the name onojk123.

🎨 The Art Behind the Sound

The album cover features my piece “Manifest”

“Manifest” is part abstract, part cosmic, and part digital dreamscape — a bright, energetic composition filled with shimmering blues, electric yellows, and rising monolithic forms. I wanted the cover to feel like the album sounds:
hopeful, exploratory, upward-moving, and alive with color.

Just like my GIMP-based kaleidoscopic and filter-layered art style, the music aims to create a multisensory experience — every track feels like stepping into one of my abstract worlds.

🎶 What the Album Sounds Like

Atlas of Understanding blends pop-electronic, melodic synth textures, uplifting chord progressions, and rhythm-forward motion.
Think:

  • shimmering leads
  • warm basslines
  • steady forward momentum
  • dreamlike drops with glowing colors
  • a mood that’s emotional, bright, and reflective

It’s music for working, thinking, wandering, creating, or simply feeling inspired. Each track builds its own sonic “map,” inviting you to navigate through emotion and imagination.

💛 Why This Album Matters to Me

This release isn’t just a collection of songs.
It’s years of experiments — from Python visualizer scripts to kaleidoscope render engines to abstract DeviantArt creations — finally unified into a complete project.

It reflects my belief that art should be multidimensional:
sound, color, texture, motion, symbols, and feeling all connected.

Atlas of Understanding is the map of that connection.

Thank you to everyone who’s followed my journey, supported my art, and explored these worlds with me. This is just the beginning.
